Metro 2033
Metro 2033 is action adventure survival horror game made by THQ. Metro 2033 is set in Moscow, Russia after the apocoliptic event on 2012, but the year as you play is 2033. The player assumes the roll of Atryom who was found by a group of people and has been raised under ground, because he was only an infant when the event of 2012 happened.
Years later his colony finds that there are man-eating creatures coming out of the ground and decides that they must try to stop them to save humanity. But soon they figure out it’s not just the creatures that are lurking in the under-ground.The game-play of Metro 2033 is first-person shooter. The game is HUD-less, leaving the player to rely on the blood coming across the screen to know they are dying, but in some other ways when you go above ground and put on the gas mask you must count out the time to know when the filter runs out.
And with no screen display the player must refer to the map to check their location leaving them available to be attacked. Further time in the game Atryom will have flash-backs telling some of his back story. The game is based of the book called Metro 2033 written by a Russian author named Dimitry Glukhovsky.
